1999 Classic Craft Badnam Launch for sale from Boat Showrooms

General

Designed by renowned yacht designer David Thomas and built in 1999 in the Hamble, BEE is a bespoke Badnam Launch; a lightweight custom classic. Featured in Classic Boat magazine in 2000 she was designed as an incredible versatile boat for coastal waters and rivers. BEE was originally moored in Chichester Harbour and enjoyed many happy years around the Solent before coming up to the Thames in 2018. She also has a bespoke trailer for transport and storage.

BEE is a handsome estuary, river or lake launch with a lovely dining table and settee berths that convert to allow overnighting should you wish. However, she is really the ultimate day launch with comfortable seating for 12 in the aft cockpit and bench seating for the same in the cabin. This is a year-round launch set to be a contemporary classic with her light robust build technique (see below) and quiet yet powerful Suzuki outboard mounted in a concealed well.

BEE underwent a major refurbishment in 2018,further updates in 2021 and more essential work on the hull and keel in 2023. She is presented in excellent condition with lovely interior cushions and exterior seating in Sunbrella fabric with a full sun shade over the aft for those extra sunny days. The hull is in expectational condition also benefitting from a fresh coat of antifoul and re-varnishing work on the topsides.
