ACCOMMODATION
The aft cabin is a Broom speciality, and the 35 is no exception. There
is a large double berth, spacious wardrobes, ample drawer space, and
full headroom. There is plenty of light from opening windows and an
escape hatch to meet European safety standards.
The galley is an essential component of any serious cruising craft, and
Broom has created a stylish and ergonomic space. Standard galley
equipment includes a large sink, three-burner hob, oven, electric
refrigerator, hot water provided by a calorifier, and plenty of cupboard
and locker space.
The capacious deck saloon is accessed by either steps' from the aft deck
or through the port side sliding door. There is a large 'U' shaped settee
to starboard, designed to provide very comfortable seating and an
occasional extra berth. Opposite the settee is an attractive sideboard
with cabinets and provision for a T.V. The saloon has all round,
toughened tinted glass windows in aluminium frames, which provides
plenty of light and makes for a comfortable living area, complete with sea toilet, moulded washbasin and vanity unit with
cupboard and mirror, 240 volt shaver point, towel ring, toothbrush/glass
holder and toilet paper holder. There is an opening window and fixed
ventilation. The shower is separate within the compartment with hot and
