2021 striped by Dennett’s and repairs done as needed and then painted and varnished. Then came to Andrews and we stripped out the interior and scraped the bilges back to bare wood, cleaned and painted with 3 coats of grey bilge paint, the running gear and steering was removed all rebuilt and repacked as well as hydraulic steering fitted retaining original column and a brand new Bluemels Brooklands steering wheel. We then rewired the whole boat with the best quality marine wire and fuse boxes, at the same time we replaced the dynamo with an dynomater which is an alternator in a classic car dynamo case.

We have the exclusive custom Smiths gauges rights for the River Thames and this boat is fitted with navy blue with white markings gauge pack including a fuel gauge, clock and rev counter.
The engine is a Morris Vedette that has been fully rebuilt by Morris minor experts Tom Roy at a cost of £2700 plus hidden electric ignition in the original casings. We then had the gearbox rebuilt with all new bearings and seals. The engine was then painted and detailed to a high show standard. If you look in the engine bay most of the wiring has been hidden so the engine looks clean and tidy. The boat has a new exhaust pipe fitted with a CNC machined stainless steel finisher on the stern.
The decks where treated to 10 further coats of Awlwood varnish as well as the varnish applied by Dennett’s and then wet sanded and machine polished to a mirror finish.
The lights and all chrome work was stripped back and triple chrome plated, all new brass rub rail was cut to size with the joints have a chamfered edge to give a seamless appearance and to minimize the chance of snagging. We have used brass screws that we then had chrome plated individually in the UK at a cost of over £2000 per boat, (not polished stainless like Freebody).
The cockpit has a brand new Robbins marine sole with 20 coats of mirror finish varnish applied.
The seating is 2 bench seats in cream marine fabric with Mulliner style box stitching with blue contrast piping.
There are 2 Bang and Olufsen waterproof blue tooth speakers the can be removed for riverside picnics, they are plugged into hidden charging points that also have USB phone or tablet charging capacity. They are controlled off the B&O app and sound amazing. There are hidden ambient lights in the cockpit in the glove boxes and in other hidden areas that make the cockpit look beautiful in the dusk or night time. We have a custom made chrome plated switch panel that has been laser engraved with its various functions, very subtle.

The boat comes with 2 navy blue Andrews umbrellas that are kept in a Rolls Royce style stainless steel holder, these are slanted into the engine room with drain holes to allow the umbrellas to dry out. They are accessed as per a Rolls Royce by gently pushing down and they pop out enough to be removed by the handle.
This boat is fitted with a removeable 240/12 volt cooler that can be taken home chilled and filled and then brought back to the boat and plugged in to the fitted socket on the boat.
All of our boats come with a security tracker that is monitored by an app on the owners phone, 4 life jackets, a full set of dock lines colour matched, 6 fenders, An Andrews picnic hamper, 4 cut Crystal Andrews glasses, 2 baseball caps and 2 gilets for the new owners.
