stevens - slingshot

The Stevens Slingshot series is a slight departure from the displacement Aft Cabin,  Open Cockpit and Vlet ranges. For a start, there is a semi-displacement hull, which can be built in steel or aluminium and can be finished in either aft-cabin or aft-cockpit variants, or even as a flybridge if desired.

Designed for the Stevens yard in 1994 for those who like to cruise at semi-displacement speeds of up to 15-20 knots, the range extends from 40 to 50ft with top speeds of approximately 28 knots, depending on engine options chosen.

There is also a 1500 Trawler, designed for the longer passagemaker, which can be totally custom-finished to your own requirements from top to bottom and makes for one of the most comfortable live-aboard homes for ocean going and inland waterways cruising.
