grand banks - eastbay 49 hx
A simple description, but one perfectly geared to the sophisticated style and power of the Grand Banks 49 Eastbay HX. Built by Grand Banks Yachts and designed in partnership with C. Raymond Hunt, this deep-V hull provides for superior performance, speed and safety. With twin 660 HP engines, owners can expect a cruising speed of 26 knots, a top speed of up to 30 knots. As one might expect, a quiet ride is also one of the benefits of an Eastbay-style fast cruiser no matter what the speed. Owners also have the option of installing a canvas enclosure around the helm deck, a cold-weather design feature that helps prolong the cruising season. Given its generous proportions, the 49 Eastbay HX offers more room than others in its class. A luxuriously appointed main salon provides a comfortable area for dining, relaxing and entertaining. The master stateroom is located all the way forward and features a private head with stall shower. The two-berth guest stateroom is located to port with a full-size head to starboard. All interior packages and equipment can be customised, but each makes standard use of varnished, handcrafted teak. Engine room access is on the centerline and through a hydraulic lift settee in the cockpit. Overall, each functional appointment makes cruising a breeze.
