Corvette 320Today's Corvette is a safe and thoroughly seaworthy cruiser, providing exhilarating performance and spacious accommodation, thanks to its unique and highly original hull shape. By marrying the performance capabilities of a planing boat to the low speed benefits of a semi-displacement hull, the designers successfully created the best of both boating worlds, resulting in a craft for all weathers that could also get up on the plane and travel at speeds of up to 28 knots. All models are fitted with twin diesel engines driving conventional shafts and a variety of proven power options from leading manufacturers are available offering output from 2 x 200hp to 2 x 315hp. With an overall length of just 32 ft and a wide beam of 13 ft, the Corvette is generally acknowledged as having one of the most spacious and voluminous layouts of any boat in its class. The Corvette is also now available in both Classic style and the new Europa, which is designed with the inland waterways of Europe in mind; the low air draught (2.6m) allows her to pass safely under many of the low bridges.
